Best Airbnbs in Tofino
When I travel, I usually prefer to stay in an Airbnb where I have my own space and I can get a fleeting taste of local life despite being a tourist. Tofino has some amazing beachfront resorts and lodges, which we’ll get to in a second if that’s more your style.
Tofino has plenty of incredible Airbnb options ready and waiting to be a perfect home base for your trip. Here are five that caught my eye.
Cedarwood Cove Retreat – Waterfront Cabin (1 bedroom / 1 bathroom) – This place includes free use of surf boards, wet suits, bikes, and more, which will save you some money on rentals. Plus, ocean views from the hot tub!
Ocean Dream Waterfront Cottage Tofino (1 bedroom + sofa bed / 1 bathroom) – Perfect rustic getaway for a couple or a family of four with a sofa bed downstairs for the kids.
Harbour Hideaway Oceanfront Condo (1 bedroom + sofa bed / 1 bathroom) – We stayed in this complex on our trip, and it’s truly the perfect location if you want to stay in Tofino itself. It’s less than five blocks to basically anything in town, and has plenty of parking for the longer trips.
Ray of Sunshine (2 bedrooms + sofa bed / 2 bathrooms) – Private hot tub, outdoor shower, and centrally located between the southern beaches and Tofino itself? Sign me up! Great for a family or group of friends.
The Anchor at South Chesterman Beach (2 bedrooms + sofa bed / 2 bathrooms) – A 12 minute walk from Chesterman Beach, this rustic retreat has a full kitchen and a huge, light-filled living area thanks to the vaulted ceilings. There’s even an outdoor shower, which I’m always on board for.
Cox Bay Cottage (2 bedrooms + sofa bed / 2 bathrooms) – Modern and stylish cabin nestled in the rainforest. It’s within walking distance of Cox Bay, but not beachfront. Nice outdoor patio area with a fire pit, and another outdoor shower!
