So you’re heading to Canada, but you need to eat 100% gluten free? No problem at all – I’ve actually found that eating gluten free in Canada is easier than traveling gluten free in the USA.
I have found that, in my experience and yours certainly may vary, Canadians take it more seriously when you say “I have Celiac Disease” and are more willing to go out of their way for you to have an incredible dining experience.
Make sure to be on the lookout for the best gluten free beers in Canada – particularly Glutenberg, one of my personal favorites even in the US. And their hard cider selection is pretty solid too.
